The new AISC 360-16 15th Edition changes have been implemented into RISA-3D v17.0 and RISAFloor v13.0.
To select this code for your design, simply choose them from the Codes tab within the Model Settings.
A few notable changes in RISA between the 14th Edition and 15th Edition of the AISC code include:
Updated shape database
Updated slenderness ratio limits
Updated method to calculate b for the Direct Analysis Method stiffness reduction
Revised method of calculating effective area for slender compression elements
Brand new check for lateral-torsional buckling on rectangular HSS members
